The house was built in 2000, on .9 acre, entirely fenced and fully landscaped with plants indigenous to the Caribbean. Fresh Herb Garden located outside the kitchen and in the planting shed. In the yard is a circa 1800 ruin of a stone cattle pen. Garden beds have drip irrigation and soaker hoses, most of the trees have drip irrigation. Trees present on the property include: mahogany, neem, numerous varieties of palms, papaya, banana, various types of citrus, mango and soursop. Dry stone walls are built around the property. Home was included in the Nevis Home and Garden Tour in February of 2003 and again in 2005.

A two story fully equipped guest cottage, Monkey Blind, was built in 2017, on .54 acre, separately fenced and fully landscaped - with the self contained living space located upstairs to benefit from the constant cooling trade winds and spectacular views and the downstairs housing a two car garage, storage area, and guest cottage private laundry facilities.

The lower level is currently being clad in Nevisian stone, honoring our local "skirt and blouse" architecture.
